Thought I'd share a picture! It's cool.

My games were over by turn 2 or 3 essentially, so we were done before most of the others if not all of them. We got to look over the shoulders of other games and enjoy watching them brain each other. There were some entertaining matches, like Bobby G vs. the fleeing Predator whuich was kind of funny. Ended in a tie. Hehehe.

My Ghostkeels were the MVP.

This prize now allows me to have two Stormsurges (I had eschewed having two, because they are expensive and it would have meant having to paint it). That would in turn allow me to crush face using the "Dual Stormsurge" list, which lots of people have told me I should take. It's a nasty list. I have faced it and seen it at many tournaments. It just basically consists of two Stormsurges, 3 Riptides and like 300 points in "other stuff", mostly Markerlights and someone to lead them and make them accurate. some lists employ the Forge World Pirahnas instead. Either way, its all just there to support the two big units of deeeeeeeeeeeath.

I dont think we ever really argued about its efficacy. Just my...reticence to do it.

Yup. Had time to kill so I went. Not really a big fan of the "anything goes" version of 40K as people who know me are aware.
