Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater - Looking for Weekend buddies

Hey guys. I recently moved into the area and my job makes weekday play a no go. Looking to meet some local players who might want to get together and shoot the gak while doing painting/modeling and play some games on the weekend. I always find I am way more productive on my model building/painting when I have people to bs with while I am doing it.

I have a table and a bunch of terrain. A couple armies if you are just getting started and want to learn. Willing to meet at others houses, my house, or game stores (Olympic Cards and Comics? Hell Yes). Id even be willing to go so far as Tacoma. (I work in Tacoma) but would also appreciate if your a Tacoma resident that we swap off and you come to me sometimes too.

Maybe if there are enough of us we can get a regular little gaming group going.

I could join if I have a free weekend, it would be rare since my work is very demanding. Even though I live in Auburn I can always play at Terracrux Games, Game Matrix or Olympic Cards and Comics.

I have some Not GW models and mostly use Not GW paints. So GW stores are not the best places for me to hang out. They don't like me using my 3rd party Red Terror (even though theirs is unavailable and has been for awhile and is a crap model on top of that), and they flat out refuse to let me pull out some dropper bottles to do some painting.

I get it. Their store their product and all that. But it doesn't change the fact that I am more or less unwelcome in GW stores heh.

I am much more casual about it. I wanna play some games and have fun. I really enjoy doing kit bashes and conversions and I don't get on anyones case for doing what they want with their toy soldiers.

There is a group going up to Bremerton WA For a tournament, Will more than likely be a large group from the Olympia and Tacoma area. The store is really nice They have a paint bar area and food in house. Always had a good time going there.
