Saturday at OCC 9/9

Postby Justinwrites » Fri Sep 08, 2017 2:36 pm

I currently plan to be at OCC on Saturday at or shortly after noon. I'm going to linger and paint if possible. Anyone wants to come get some should feel free. My list will be a bit light as I've got a bunch of stuff disassembled for stripping and painting. But we'll figure it out.

Dan and I ended up playing a game. His alpha legion are very similarly built to my Chaos list and its also a brigade. His list is very good. Alpha Legion is extremely difficult to strike at and it hit very hard. Stormsurge fired just once before dying. I managed to push forward and get three of tthe four objectives before time expired but he was doing significant damage. I lost two gunrigs, the stormsurge Kroot Carnivores, a unit of Kroot hounds. Amazing that I only lost 5 units. But he was threatening many more and most of my army was forced to advance to the midfield to do battle and take objectives. Yes. Tau move forward, not just deep strikung.
