Power of the Machine Spirit

Hey quick question. If a land raider uses Power of the machine spirit to fire at a flyer they still have to snap fire right? It says they can use their full BS but the shot is still a snap shot that has to be resolved at BS 1 is the way I'm reading it.

I am of that opinion as well. Snapfire reduces your BS to 1 regardless of anything that increases it. Though I can't find anything about addition modifiers happening before negative modifiers but that is how I would play it regardless.

Ill have to find the page number (I think its 32) but it said modifiers do not affect snap shots unless they specifically say so.

Edit: Page 33 top left paragraph

yup im pretty certain that both rules are true. It fires at full BS. That BS is defined by SnapShot.

Well no, Because if you move more then 6" with the land raider you can usually only fire one wep normally but with potms overrides one gun to ignore snapshots for that shooting phase. That being said most tourneys rule that potms doesn't allow you to fire full bs At fliers

Which tournament did you see that at?

Though thinkin about it more this would be a case of general vs specific so potms should override it anyway

Ballistic skill does not come into effect with shooting at flyers unless you have the skyfire rule. This is under flyers hard to hit rule. Which states all shots made at a flyer are to be made at snap shots, unless the model or weapon has the skyfire special rule. Which means is does not matter if you are firing at full ballistic skill or not.
