So 40k seems pretty active for which I'm grateful, but what's the Sigmar scene like?

I haven't seen anyone playing it at OCC since it was released. A few of us are working on armies but to my knowledge nobody actively plays.

I think a few people are going to learn it soon. Matt is in Vegas but hen he gets back we'll give it a go.

I am planning on putting together something to try and get more people to play. I will be working on it more after my vacation.
Matt should be around here somewhere...lurking...

I just recently got into AoS, I'm painting a Greenskinz army for casual play.

I started looking at one of their books for funsies the other day and then saw in the back of the book that AoS uses formations. That killed any interest I could ever have in AoS. Formations were one of the worst parts of 7th 40k.

I'm going to try it out, since I'm a sucker for fantasy settings. I like to try everything at least once that way I can see if it's something I want to get into. Even though I do have to admit I jumped the gun a little with AoS, I got the Warhammer itch when I finally got to play 40K at my local GW store and the people there were really nice guys. So now I'm painting Greenskinz because I can't get enough of Orcs.
