Hello Everyone.

I've been in the area for quite a long time now but just recently renewed my animosity for Games Workshop since the advent of 8th Edition. Currently building Space Marines but will be branching out once new Codices are released.

Had a few games so far and was pointed to this forum by a couple of helpful folks. I'm pretty much available any night of the week with a few days prior notice as I am a single parent and live out in Rochester. Saturdays are great for me.

Look forward to see you guys out there!

Hail and well met! I think we talked at the store. Short guy with glasses. =)

The thing to do is get on the 40K section of the forum and tell us all about you and then put up a post of when you'd like to play and what kind/size of game you're looking for. People will respond. Give them a weeks notice or so whenever you can and commit! Lat's play some 40K bruh.

Hello forum! I'm Josh, just started building and painting my first 40K army! Went with Adeptus Mechanicus for my first ever. I used to play Dark Heresy (pen and paper RPG, playing as the Inquisition of 40k), so I'm not totally new to the Grim Darkness of the 41st millennium! Have yet to play any games, but the super helpful folks over at OCC pointed me to these forums. Looking forward to getting together for games and meeting some of you.

Well well welcome. Also look into the Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/185402052000929/.

The thing to do if'n you wanna get some games in is plant your flag in the 40K section of the forum and in the subject line put the date, time, and location you're looking for a game. Give a few days notice and voila! Instant opponents to learn against.

I suggest 1000 point games when you're learning. They are big enough to get some units in and get the mechanics down and are just as tactically challenging, but shorter! So you can get two or three games in instead of just one bigger game.

If you have a potential list you like, ask for advice first! Not all advice is good, but at least you'll have more to chew on before you spend money.
Some people here are experts on their respective favorite factions and can offer real insight.

Again welcome.
