Just wondering. On the modified list you posted with the 88's how much would a list like that cost to purchase.

Mech lists are on the expensive ends...with all the transport vehicle options, a fully mechanized list like that would cost about $350 from Battlefront. Swap the motorcycles w/ sidecars for jeeps (but you miss the chance to have a BMW with a machine gun mounted!), drop the halftracks for the 88s, swap out for Plastic Soldier Company tanks, and it knocks about $100 off.

As a bonus, the entire list uses models that work for both Mid- and Late-war; swap the tanks out, and you can move straight into early war.

This might be something I can do. I like the lay out of the list, and I like it can move between time frames with out major work. I think it is time to start my FOW fund.

And the best-price shopping list:

10x Panzer IVH: $52 (two boxes of PSC)
4x motorcycle w/ sidecar teams, 4x Assault Rifle teams: $23 (if you switch the cycles for Schwimmwagens, you can use the Battlefront SS Tank Hunter Platoon)
1x Panzergrenadier platoon: $65 (Battlefront box)
3x SdKfz 222: $15.80 (Zvezda, you will need to convert the radio mount for one of them):
1x Armored Rocket Battery: $58 (Battlefront box)
1x .88 platoon: $65 (Battlefront box)

For about $20 more, you can replace the Battlefront panzergrenadier box with PSC German infantry box, PSC halftrack box, and PSC bases, which will give you a full company worth of grenadiers and a spare halftrack...but I like the look of the Battlefront infantry over the PSC. Compare them online, see what suits your esthetics.

There are variations available for the two Recon platoons. Check it out on easyarmy.com ...the Panzerkampfgruppe list is free.

$279 for beeftastic army? That feels like lemonade on a hot day after getting the Dark eldar I have. Lol.

Trades are a good way to go also. Like Dante said, he can probably come up with the infantry part of this.
